Compassionate Care for Lasting Change

Eating Disorder & Recovery Support
As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), I have completed advanced training and over 3,000 hours of experience working with individuals struggling with eating disorders.
I understand that recovery isn’t about willpower—it’s about healing the relationship you have with food, your body, and yourself. My goal is to provide a safe, affirming space where you can begin to explore these challenges, develop new coping strategies, and build a life beyond the eating disorder.

Working Together
Because eating disorders affect both body and mind, I often recommend that clients also connect with a Registered Dietitian as part of their care team. This collaborative approach allows us to support you from every angle—physical, emotional, and psychological.

What to Expect in Sessions
Each person’s experience is unique, but therapy often includes:
- Exploring the root causes of eating disorder behaviors
- Identifying triggers and building healthier coping skills
- Learning to recognize and challenge unhelpful thoughts
- Practicing body neutrality and self-compassion
- Sometimes incorporating snacks during sessions for therapeutic support and accountability
- Setting realistic, personalized goals to work toward outside of sessions
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to reduce fear and avoidance
