About Waystone Counseling and Wellness

At Waystone Counseling and Wellness, we believe that healing is possible—even when the path feels unclear. Our mission is simple: to provide compassionate, thoughtful, and personalized therapy that helps people reconnect with themselves, break free from patterns that no longer serve them, and begin living in alignment with their values.

Therapy here isn’t one-size-fits-all. Each person’s story is unique, and so is the way we work together. Brianna draws from a variety of evidence-based strategies, offering both a supportive presence and the gentle challenge needed for real growth.

A waystone reminds us: you’re not lost—you’re finding your way.

HELLO! I'm Bri Jones

A licensed counselor passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and heal. I believe that meaningful change is possible -- even when the path forward feels uncertain.

I was born in Washington and grew up in Missouri. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Missouri Baptist University in 2014, followed by a Master’s in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2017. That same year, I moved to San Antonio, Texas, drawn by the warmer weather and the excitement of starting a new chapter—alongside my dog, Bear.

I’m passionate about working with individuals who are seeking to understand themselves better and create lasting change.I believe that all people have the capacity to change and heal. My goal is for clients to leave each session feeling more free, grounded, and challenged to live according to their values.

My work centers around helping individuals break free from behaviors that no longer serve them and move toward a life of healing and growth. I’ve worked across multiple levels of care, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings.

If you’re looking for a compassionate presence paired with a thought-provoking perspective, we may be a good fit. I have experience working with individuals navigating eating disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. I’m trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for treating PTSD and am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP).

If you are an LPC-A and interested in seeing me as a supervisor, please visit the supervision page on services for more information about being a supervisee.
